Rebecca Romijn is back at ABC, signing on to headline its drama pilot “Eastwick.”

Romijn, who most recently starred on the Alphabet’s “Ugly Betty,” will play Roxie, the lead character on “Eastwick.”

Thesp joins a cast that also includes Lindsay Price, Veronica Cartwright and Jaime Ray Newman. “Eastwick” is based on John Updike’s novel “The Witches of Eastwick,” as well as the 1987 feature film of the same name.

Maggie Friedman is the scribe and exec producer, while David Nutter is directing “Eastwick,” which comes from Warner Bros. TV.

Romijn will next be seen in indie film “The Love Child of Andy Warhol and Yoko Ono.” She plays an art dealer who discovers an ex-con who has a talent for sculpting.

Thesp’s credits also include the “X-Men” movies, in which she plays Mystique, as well as “Lies and Alibis” and “Lake City.”

Beyond “Betty,” in which Romijn continues to recur, TV credits include “Pepper Dennis” and “House of Style,” which she hosted.

“Eastwick” revolves around three women who discover they have mystical powers when a mysterious man comes to town.

“Lake City,” a family drama starring Sissy Spacek and Troy Garity, is not the most intuitive choice of a debut movie from two well-connected New Yorkers. It tells the story of a woman, Maggie (Spacek), living in a small Virginia town whose musician son, Billy (Garity), surprises her by returning home unexpectedly. Even more unexpected is that Billy has brought with him a young boy, Clayton (Colin Ford), the son of a “friend” of Billy’s who is in some kind of trouble.

The writer-directors, Paper magazine Executive Director Hunter Hill and award-winning young-adult novel author Perry Moore (”Hero”), acknowledge that “Lake City” was a surprising choice from them.

“There are a lot of people who direct music videos for a long time before making a feature film or doing a horror movie,” Moore says. “But that’s not what we are interested in.”
